This week, Isobel Morath and Samuel Walker each spent a day at Anglia Ruskin University, supporting students on the university’s Cyber Security and Digital Forensics course.
Working alongside Senior Lecturer Practitioners Andrew Moore and Steve Shepherd MBE, they assisted with a practical advocacy exercise in which students gave evidence on expert reports they had prepared in relation to a potential cyber-crime investigation. The exercise involved examination-in-chief and cross-examination, with law students acting as counsel.
The exercise provided students with a valuable opportunity to apply both legal and technical skills in a realistic courtroom setting, and we were very happy to come along and support! Thank you to Anglia Ruskin University for having us.
