We instructed Ms Claire Gould to represent our client in Private Children Act proceedings Final Hearing. I must say she got an excellent result for the client. It was contested proceedings and Ms Gould got an outstanding outcome for the client. Both we the instructing solicitors, and the client were very happy with Ms Gould’s performance and the outcome she obtained for the client. Thanks to her, this Father is going to have meaningful contact with his children and be involved in their lives. Ms Gould’s position statement she prepared for the Hearing was also excellent, detailed and to the point. Overall we were extremely happy with her and will most certainly be instructing her again in the future with no hesitation.
Instructing Solicitor

Ms Gould was very thorough in her preparations, prepared a concise and accurate position statement, build a good rapport with my client, and achieved a very positive outcome at the Hearing.
Instructing Solicitor

You helped me so much in court that day, as you know I have had a lot of court experience and you have been the most amazing barrister. The lady who came to court with me, who works with refuge/women’s aid commented on how brilliant you were in dealing with a man like my ex husband. You took control of the situation. I cannot thank you enough.
Representation of a mother

Now that my case is concluded I would like to take this opportunity to offer some feedback of my barrister Clare Gould.
This has been my first time interacting with a barrister and going through this process. Clare has been very personable and has guided me through this situation adeptly.
Moreover I have been very impressed with her meticulous work on my case, particularly the paperwork and her skill at cross examination. All of the statements, chronology, position statement etc was completed quickly, professionally and actually far more than I was expecting in terms of detail and sheer volume of work completed.
During the case Clare was able to adapt on the fly reacting to new information and asking appropriate questions in response constantly catching out the other party.
The after care received has been perfect, if I have had any questions etc she can’t do enough to help.
I would like to thank Clare for all of her hard work on this and the positive outcome we received. I wouldn’t hesitate to return in future.
