Amelia Marshall
Called to the Bar in 2025

Amelia joined Chambers in October 2026, following the successful completion of her pupillage. She accepts instructions across all of Chambers’ practice areas, and appears in the County, Crown and Magistrates courts.

Amelia has particular experience working as an advocate for those with complex needs and vulnerabilities. Before coming to the Bar, Amelia worked as a domestic abuse caseworker at Women’s Aid, where she supported women through family court proceedings, as well as immigration and housing applications. She also volunteered at Women’s Aid while completing her Bar Course and volunteered as an advocate representing disability benefit claimants in appeals at the First-tier Tribunal.

After graduating with a First Class degree from the University of Cambridge, Amelia achieved a Distinction in her PGDL. She then went on to receive the Guildhall Chambers Bristol Drafting Prize from the Inns of Court College of Advocacy, after ranking top in her cohort’s drafting exam. She also received the Uthwatt Bar Course Scholarship and Ann Goddard Pupillage Scholarship from Gray’s Inn.

Outside of court, Amelia is a keen gardener, and has been trying to establish a Chambers vegetable patch.
